LogiqueWerks and Internet Explorer 8

Here is an Internet Explorer 8 TIP for visiting LogiqueWerks without typing all those characters in the IE8 address bar. First, navigate to LW in a new browser pane here (this link opens in a new window.) Now in that pane save us as a Favorite using CTRL-D but give the new entry a short name such as the three letters lwk for LogiqueWerks. You must save this bookmark in the top level of your bookmark folders, so you may have to navigate up in the folders. Now navigate to another web site in that browser pane (ALT-D will place your cursor in the browser address bar.) When you get to that other site, just enter your LogiqueWerks short name, e.g., the three letters lwk in the IE8 address bar. If a list showing only our link appears, simply click Enter. If there are multiple items in the list, you may need to use your arrow keys. Your new link should display a hint to open with Shift-Enter. While not as convenient as FireFox Smart Keywords, this tip can save you a lot of typing when navigating to web sites on the internet. If you see anything in that URL dropdown list which you do not want, simply use your arrow keys to select that item and then hit your Delete key to remove it. You can also use this delete action to remove typos that keep coming up as suggestions in other entry fields for such things as usernames or telephone numbers. I suggested using "lwk" as your short URL name because if you accidentally hit CTRL-Enter instead of Shift-Enter, "lw" would take you to www.lw.com. There is presently no such risk with "lwk".
